The Sartorial Women (4): Resilience and Reinvention
Embark on a journey of resilience and reinvention with Fanny’s story: from international tax lawyer to the creator of Rue du Paradis lingerie. Witness her transformation as she defied convention, redefined beauty standards, and fostered inclusivity in the fashion world.
Driven by a passion for French lace and a commitment to authenticity, she navigated the challenges of entrepreneurship with determination and creativity. Through bespoke craftsmanship and intimate workshops, Rue du Paradis became a sanctuary of self-love, embracing diversity and individuality.
The Sartorial Women (3): Challenging Gender Norms
Iris’ love for classic and sartorial style began with childhood visits to European manors and period dramas like "Pride and Prejudice." Growing up in a small Finnish town, she noticed that society had strict gender norms. Despite feeling gender didn't limit her, adulthood revealed disparities like pay gaps and biased expectations. To challenge this, she co-founded The Pavonini, and leverage the brand's inclusive imagery promotes gender equality in fashion. Through the upcoming mtm suit collection for women, launched together with the brand Herrainpukimo, Iris seeks to break down the gender stereotypes and make classic style accessible to everyone.
The Sartorial Women (2): Redefining the Art of Shirts
The inspiration behind Micky came from noticing the superior quality, fit, and style of men's shirts compared to women's. After 20+ years in Pret-a-Porter, she connected with renowned Parisian bespoke shirt maker Daniel Lévy to create something unique: a design for women who seek a balance of luxury and comfort. By redefining the meaning of shirts, Micky offers timeless elegance with a modern touch, adopting a lifestyle that values quality, sustainability, and subtle sophistication.
