Based in Singapore, Hat of Cain is a homegrown label specializing in Panama hats and located in the lively and charming neighbourhood of Joo Chiat. 

Born out of passion and appreciation for the artisanship behind the making of toquilla straw hats, founder Bill Cain, spent time in Ecuador deep diving and fueling his passion for the craft before returning home to start Hat of Cain in 2012. 

Sourced directly from Ecuador and made exclusively for Hat of Cain, these hats are intricately handwoven by artisans in the towns of Cuenca and Montecristi and can take anywhere between fifteen days to six months depending on the fineness and complexity of the weave to complete.
